dHallo hallo~
it's me again. ^^;
Today was a really exhausting day. Not only because we walked quite much in Kyoto, but also because of the mental situation. Things are not easy currently... *sigh*
But never mind, I was in Kyoto today - with Vicky.
We left quite early in the morning and took the train from Tokyo to Kyoto, where we arrived arround lunchtime. So we went to have Ramen for lunch, 'cause we also didn't have breakfast. ^^;;
Right after we went out of the station complex and found us right in front of the Kyoto Tower.
Did you already notice that I love high places? And I love the sky and clouds! ^___^
We discovered Kyoto byfoot only, walking and wandering around and found ourselfs in the south-east and center parts of Kyoto, where also some smaller mountains/hills are included. By about 38° we really melted. I swear, I didn't sweat so much before.
In the later afternoon we went back in the center part of the old capital of Japan.
Unfortunatly most sight seeing spots, museums and temples close at 5 pm so we couldnt get into the castle or to the imperiors palast. Maybe next time? Right?
At about 6 pm we went back to the station, 'cause we were quite far away. After walking for about 45 minutes we reached the Kyoto Tower and decided to go up, watch the sunset and take a look over the whole city, which is really hugh. So when you go to Kyoto plan about 3-4 days at least!
And 'cause time flowes by fast, we had to leave Kyoto in the evening again... well.
Kyoto is a nice city, really beautiful and it hides so many mysterious and interesting places that you should take your time to enjoy this town. But be careful to take the right one with you.
