While it's raining heavily right now outside (I LOVE THIS THUNDERBIRDS!) I just will try to update you with some infos about the last two days.
Lisa and me went travelling again. Because we own the JR Railpass which allows aliens in Japan to travel freely around the country. Of course we had to pay for it before but it's really worth using it. And because we can travel by train now, we didn't take a hotel anywhere - just one day trips. ^^;;
On Thusday (2012-08-16) we went to Osaka. So we got up at 6.30 am and arrived in this lovely HOT town during lunchtime. Yet, because it was so hot we didn't eat and just started going around. You know, Osaka is quite a big city, I love Osaka but since it's that big, you can't go everywhere. So we started with some main tourist spots: Shitennoji, Tsutentaku-Tower (just pasted by quite often XD), Osaka Castle, Hokoku-Shrine, Namba with Running Man & Dotonburi, Namba Walk shopping street, walking down the riverside in Namba, Umeda, Floating Garden (from Osaka Station) and then we got some food and went back by train.
We arrived home arround midnight.
On Friday (2012-08-16) it started like the day before, yet our destination was Nara. Lisa actually was thinking I might be crazy to go to a city for watching deer. We do have deer in Austra too, but not THAT deer. XD
After changing trains in Kyoto we arrived in Nara where we met up with Kazuma, a Japanese friend of mine which I also have met for the first time right now, who was born in Nara and is still living there. He showed us arround in the city and well, Nara is muuuuuuuuuch smaller than the cities where we have been before thus it's more relaxing and you don't feel that stressed. It was a great day.
Kazuma showed us the most important spots and of course we met my beloved deer. ^^ It's nearly everywhere in Nara! XD Places where we went to: Todaiji with the Daibutsu (big Buddha), Kofukuji, National Museum (only outside since Lisa doesn't like museums like I do), Kasuga Shrine and much more.
We also did a bit of souvenir shopping and because it started raining really hard in the evening we just took the train back home at 6 pm, changed in Kyoto and arrived home at about 11 pm.
